Corporate Identity

For many, this is the marketing cornerstone of any organisation. It is also an area of specific interest and expertise for Thump, including name generation, concept and design, through to implementation and launch campaigns. Often our work is part of an evolutionary process, where a client's strategy is to refresh and/or retain appropriate positioning or integrate growth/changes.

To start, we look for understanding - from an understanding of the business, its aims and objectives to its infrastructure and audiences. This knowledge is frequently acquired through communication and marketing audits and by talking to the audiences that interact with an organisation externally and internally.

As a précis, we look to achieve three attributes for a corporate identity:

  1. Coherence
    • Presentation of the organisation in a clear and comprehensible fashion
    • Demonstration of how its different parts relate to each other
    • Facilitation of audience access to the organisation, products and services
  2. Symbolism - its ethos and attitude
  3. Positioning - in that it differentiates itself from competitors
