Developed for client Greene King, Thump developed the name, brand as well as designing and building the iBrew mobile app. A fun and engaging way to promote their core range of beers and how they are made, this app allows customers to take part and learn about the brewing process. From the water and yeast used to the location and strength of hops used, the app is an entertaining and interactive experience that results in making one of four primary beer brands; IPA, Ruddles, Old Speckled Hen and Abbot Ale. To finally brew the beer, the phone needed to be physically shaken to mix all the ingredients naturally with appropriate sound effect. In addition to brewing their ale, geo location provided information to nearest pub to enjoy the real thing.
