HQ Global operates in the highly competitive sector of managed and serviced offices. Our brief was to establish a pilot portal for HQ Global and launch this as Officehound.
Many of Officehound's competitors had confusing and overly busy web presentations. We developed a creative strategy that focused on simplicity and clarity. An illustrative style was then chosen, and humour was introduced on the website with the creation of Rusty, the Office 'hound'.
Effective communication on the web, particularly for this client, is all about immediacy. The core objective was to encourage users to search and find suitable property quickly and easily.
Given the level of established competition, a comprehensive search engine strategy was imperative. To realise this, we worked alongside the search engine organisation (SEO) Spannerworks.
The site is built in HTML, Flash and DHTML. It is planned that the full portal rollout will be database-driven, which it is not at this stage, given budgetary constraints. It will also incorporate a content management system.
Subsequently the brand has been sold to another operator, but the design and functionality remain.
